Woven in a Toraja village in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, this large 40-year-old ikat blanket is made of exceptionally heavy cotton. The reddish brown, cream and blue are traditional Toraja colors used for their abstract patterned weavings. The piece has minimal fading and is in excellent condition.
