| Tortoise shell bamboo forms the legs and frames the backrest on this 19th century Chinese chair. A sketch of two birds on a branch decorates bamboo slats set within the backrest framework. The chair folds flat for storage. A nice example of the strength and durability of bamboo, this piece is in very good condition.
