| The striking cinnabar-colored lacquer on this 19th century trunk signals its use as either a dowry chest or as an especially fine gift for the newly married couple. It is from Korea's South Cholla Province. Yellow brass hardware is a nice contrast to the rich hue of the lacquer. The size of this trunk makes it suitable for use as a small coffee table or low side table. It is in excellent condition. Dimensions: height 3" (59 cm), width 29" (74 cm), depth 15" (38 cm). | ||
