A graceful low table from Thailand has a concave top to hold offerings of flowers or fruit. The table is made of Thai teak, which has not been available for a number of years due to a government prohibition on harvesting in the endangered teak forests. The Cambodian and Burmese teak now used in Thailand have a different grain and color.
